Coastal View has state-of-the-art resthome/hospital-level care facilities with skilled care and nursing staff. The large apartment-sized suites (up to 40 m²) have generous private decks leading to open spacious gardens.
The facility charges a premium rate (over and above the Government subsidy – if this applies) from $55.00 to $91.00 per day.
Dementia Centre
Te Ara House is Coastal View's boutique dementia centre which opened early 2023. The 20-bed, stand-alone facility is set out like a home, with an open plan kitchen and lounge area to create a domestic feel and provide familiarity – which makes the transition into the facility easier. (Te Ara means ‘the pathway’ in Maori.)
Large gardens, outdoor seating and circular pathways make the most of the spectacular outlook of the surrounding hills. This area is enclosed with open fencing, allowing residents the freedom to enjoy the outdoors in a safe environment.
The facility charges a premium rate (over and above the Government subsidy – if this applies) of $108.00 per day.
Spritely Healthcare Devices
Coastal View provides Spritely remote healthcare monitors free of charge in the independent houses. The award-winning telehealth tablet allows residents to record and track their vitals, such as blood pressure, temperature, weight, blood oxygen and more. The results can be given to your GP or discussed with our telenurse.
Furthermore, the Spritely tablets allow residents to keep connected to the village by offering the facility for live updates and notices from management as well as video call features for communication with neighbours.
The Butler
For an extra level of service in independent houses, we have The Butler service, which offers the following additional benefits:
- A nutritious and convenient main meal delivered to your door 5 days a week, with your choice of either dinner or lunch.
- Weekly cleaning services chosen from a range of options.
- Your laundry taken care of once a week, with the option of using our linen which will be delivered freshly laundered each week.
